Description
Sam and Carson start off the morning like any other – just your average everyday teens arguing over the last bowl of cereal when they realize they’re late. Their scary seventh grade science teacher lives to dole out detentions which they would like to avoid at all costs. That’s when Carson suggests a shortcut on their walk to school through the forbidden ground of the local woods. All the kids in the neighborhood have been told to stay clear but no valid clues as to why. The boys enter and at first, they find nothing special aside from a creepy worm - then fall into a sinkhole and land in a cave with walls of gold and gems. This alternate universe initially seems deserted but as the twins explore, they make new friends, including strange animals. What is the connection between this world and their own?
